Aditya thakare to fly NZ to replace Ishan porel
Young Vidarbha pacer Aditya thakare is all set to replace right arm medium pacer Ishan porel in the ongoing ICC U19 World Cup in New Zealand.
Ishan porel succumbed to a foot injury in the game against Australia on Sunday was replaced by Arshdeep Singh in today’s match against Papua New Guinea. His MRI results proved to be negative and this prompted the management to include Aditya thakare.
A promising youngster-Aditya
Aditya made his Ranji debut in December 2017 and was appreciated by experts for his accuracy and length. The right arm medium bowler is set to create an impact in pace friendly conditions at New Zealand. He will be flying tomorrow to NZ to join the squad.
Win against PNG
Earlier this day India won against PNG comfortably by 10 wickets after bowling them out for a meager 64.Spinner Anukul Roy starred with the ball with figures of 5/14.
Prithvi Shaw’s quick fire half century powered India to an easy win.
India’s next match is scheduled against Zimbabwe on 19th of this month at Bay Oval, Maunganui.
