The 58th edition of the prestigious Duleep Trophy marks the beginning of this year’s domestic season. This year the tournament starts on the 17th of August.
Three years ago the tournament was played among 5 teams, (North Zone, South Zone, West Zone, East Zone and Central Zone) and since then the format has been revamped.
The 2016-17 edition onwards saw three teams (India Red, India Blue and India Green) playing a round-robin format to reach the final. This year the format is no different.

India Red: Priyank Panchal (c), Abhimanyu Easwaran, Axar Patel, Karun Nair, Ishan Kishan (wk), Hapreet Singh Bhatia, Mahipal Lomror, Aditya Sarwate, Akhsay Wakhare, Varun Aaron, Ronit More, Jaydev Unadkat, Sandeep Warrier and Ankit Walsi.

1. India Blue vs India Green – 17-20 August 2019, Bangalore
2. India Red vs India Blue – 23-26 August 2019, Bangalore
3. India Red vs India Green – 29 August-1 September, Bangalore
4. Final TBD vs TBD – 4-8 September, M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore
All league matches will be 4-day games played with the red ball in the day. The final of the tournament will be a 5-Day game played with the pink ball making it a day/night game.
